Anti-aging Essential Oils

What is your TRUE age?

What is Your Biological Age?

Everyone knows their chronological age. This is the number of candles that are on top of your birthday cake and the birthdays you celebrate. However, developments in science have created another measurement of age called biologic age. This bio-age is based on years of statistical research which can predict how healthy you are and how long you might live.

How old are you – really? If you base your age on the number of birthdays you’ve celebrated, you may be using the wrong measurement. It makes sense if you think about it. You’ve probably noticed that the people around you are aging at vastly different speeds. So why do some people stay healthy and vital so much longer than others? Biological Age tests such as TruAge can help us see why with more clarity than ever before.

Biological Vs Chronological Age

Scientists may have found the answer, and it starts with changing how we think about our age. Simply put, instead of counting the candles on the cake we should be measuring specific biomarkers of age at a cellular level.

Test such as the TruAge test can determine your “Biological Age”, a much more accurate indicator of your health and youthfulness than your chronological age.

How Does Knowing Your TruAge Biological Age Help?

At this point, you may be wondering why you would want to know your biological age – isn’t your chronological age enough to contend with?

Aging Backwards

Here’s the most important thing: Knowledge is power. You can use the information you receive regarding your biomarkers and take concrete steps to lower your biological age.

That’s because biomarkers respond to changes in things like your diet, activity levels, sleep patterns, and environmental exposure. In other words, armed with the right information, you can actually age backwards!

Why Should You Choose TruAge™

The TruAge™ test is the most robust testing available in the world for biological age evaluation. The data that we get from your DNA is 40,000 times larger than many competitors. The test looks at 850,000 locations on the DNA and evaluates the changes.  Then, through a complex mathematic model validated by research using data from over 5000 people and combined with artificial intelligence, we are able to find correlations with incredibly high accuracy and link these results to health outcomes.

As an example: if 2000 patients show methylation on their DNA at the same place and 1999 of those patients develop Alzheimer’s, we can say with a high degree of certainty that that location on the DNA can help predict the risk of Alzheimer’s.

These mathematical calculations have been performed with biological aging. By comparing the biological age and chronological age of a person we can predict their risk of many many different diseases …and maybe even when they might die!

How to get your TruAge™ test:

1. Talk to your provider about the TruAge™ Test.

2. Give the blood sample required at your appointment, or order a kit and take it to AnyLabTestNow for a blood draw.

What are some of the strategies that can be discussed? It is important to take inventory of the things that are damaging, and the things that are restorative.

  1. Manage diet.
  2. Manage stress.
  3. Restore Hormones.
  4. As we age we start losing the ability to produce growth hormone which has a direct effect on the cell, the function of the mitochondria, and the function of the immune cells.
  5. Peptides have a role in healthy aging.
  6. Sleep restoration is crucial.
  7. Vitamins, herbs, and essential oils can be utilized.

How often should you repeat the test to check progress? Every 6-12 months.
